the theme is Memories ‘The ability of the mind to store and recall past sensations or a particular recollection of an event.’ Collins English dictionary .
How do memories either good or bad distort with time memories can be recalled from the conscious or the unconscious mind .
Was a good memory ‘really a good memory’ or was it colored over time to represent what you would like that memory to be.
I’ve made my artwork and it’s already exhibited

My story behind the artwork The Jailkeeper:
My artwork is my memory of an armed robbery at a friend’s place in Zimbabwe.
It goes without saying that it is not a nice memory. It is a memory that at least eight years after, is too easy to recall.
The storage of such an experience proves both from my conscious and subconscious mind. As the years have passed, I would say that it is often my subconscious mind playing tricks on me. A smell, a sound or a vision, can recall my worst nightmare in no time.
